The friction brake is a special feature made on the pet leash that can be used to brake the unwinding of the strap. The brake function can be activated by pressing the thumb button. Once the function is activated, there is no need to press the thumb button and the brake remains active until the belt is no longer pulled out, but the return spring begins to rewind the tape onto the spool. Rewinding brings the friction brake back to its basic position. The friction brake eliminates the sudden stop of the pet, causing the walker and not the pet to squeak or jerk.

Functional description Figure 1 The leash has a tape reel (2.) from which the tape (6.) is unwound by pulling out the tape. In this case, the spring (2b.) Inside the tape reel (2.) is tightened.
